Waving Goodbye!

WATERY WEDNESDAY

WAVING GOODBYE!

Winter's gone and Spring is here;
Days of blistering heat draw near
But our stretch of Pacific Ocean
Doesn't understand the notion
Of calendars and changing seasons,
It just ignores our human reasons.
Winter waves can still come crashing
If the stormy winds are lashing.
Wintry waves and wild wet weather
Tend to make us wonder whether
Our calendars are all awry!
Wave the Winter Waves goodbye!

A stormy sea set to music here:

You're waving goodbye and it's just around the corner for us. Your image almost makes me want to pull out the sweater. :)
Lovely poem - I really enjoyed it.

I don't like the thought of winter on it's way here. It seems like summer just arrived.
