Elevated Bluebells

MY TRUE COLOURS
http://poopsiestruecolours.blogspot.com/
chooses 'MAUVE' this week.

ELEVATED BLUEBELLS

The bluebells of the North spread wide,
In every wood, from side to side.
Stretching far as the eye can see,
A glorious mauve felicity!
One can swim and one can wade
In each brilliant bluebell glade.
'Home thoughts from abroad' include
A melancholy bluebell mood.
But we're not all down-in-the mouth
Here in our very tropical south.
For every year is bound to bring
The bliss of a Jacaranda Spring.
Every boulevard abounds
In a march of mauve that, too, astounds.
Every park and each veranda
Sports a brilliant jacaranda.
Indigenous it may not be,
It was introduced, originally,
But now we see it as home-grown,
A springtime glory of our own.
They're never to be under-rated....
Our 'bluebells', which are elevated.

They are exactly the same shade as the bluebells in the woods by our house. Wonderful

The Jacaranda tree is natarally new to me - its a lovely colour & perfect for TCT Mauve.
And, the poems delightful & such a great title too.

Best wishes
Blue

PS - you asked what ever would I find when Mauve comes around next time - heaven help me!
